COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is customized for dental teams who want to grow their restorative implant practices. Participants will learn how to implement The Emergency Implant as a practice growth strategy. The course will also provide a detailed digital workflow and practice business systems that support this important aspect of restorative practice growth. We will use a didactic and case presentation format.
Course Objectives:
1. Learn to identify and treatment plan the emergency implant in your practice
2. Understand how the digital workflow improves the patient’s experience
3. Overview of business systems that support digital dentistry
4. Identify essential communication steps for the dental implant team including internal support, lab partners, and surgical specialists

Dr. Vigliante grew up in Long Island, NY and was introduced to the life-changing benefits of oral & maxillofacial surgery in 1992 upon undergoing double jaw surgery. He graduated 1st in his class from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1997. Following dental school, he received his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In 2003, he completed his training in general surgery and oral/maxillofacial surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas, Texas in 2006. He has been practicing in
the Northern Virginia area since 2006. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Vigliante specializes in immediate dental implant placement and immediate dental implant loading. He practices cosmetic implant dentistry, meticulously preserving bone and soft tissue. He advocates “Tooth in a Day” procedures, working closely with local labs for temporization, and has perfected techniques to provide this service as a predictable treatment protocol leading to many happy patients and dentists. In addition to advanced implant surgery, Dr. Vigliante offers a wide range of cosmetic facial rejuvenation procedures, including hair restoration.
Dr. Vigliante is a member of multiple surgical and dental organizations including the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Since 2006, he has been on the medical staff at INOVA Loudoun Hospital. He practices the full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery including orthognathic and surgical sleep apnea treatments.
