Course Description: This presentation will showcase digital solutions that can be implemented today and give attendees a clear understanding of clinical dental technology and how we must change the way we think about providing solutions for our patients. The advantage of digital technology is to help improve the way we practice dentistry by offering benefits that include a combination of workflows enabled by technology that improve diagnosis, treatment planning, the virtual wax-up, as well as surgical and prosthetic techniques. Many techniques, such as integration of datasets, manipulation of data through software, low-dose radiation for innovative restorative techniques, the virtual lab technician, and integrative workflows, all enabled with available integrated software, open a new world to thinking and performing optimal dentistry for our patients.

Course Objectives: At the completion of the lecture, the participant will have gained insights regarding:

  • Knowing what technology you need in a clinical setting and the material considerations.
  • Improving the process for everyday procedures.
  • Learning how to use innovative workflows in daily practice.
